About Me
Dr. Lindsey Barnhart founded Move It Or Lose It Physical Therapy in 2025 following several years working in chain and private outpatient therapy settings. She obtained her Bachelors in Human Biology from Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University in 2013 and then her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Wayne State University in 2017. She continues to teach Anatomy to the Doctoral Physical Therapy students at Wayne State.
Dr. Lindsey firmly believes that the patient and the provider should have full control over setting an individualized treatment plan to help patients reach their personal goals. She is also passionate about educating her patients so that they can continue to help themselves in the future and maintain continued results. Lastly, Dr. Lindsey wishes to change the way physical therapy is utilized by getting ahead of injuries when possible through personalized screenings for custom programming.
Certified in joint mobilization, manipulation, functional massage, Hawkgrips/scrapping, cupping, Rocktape, dry needling, barbell rehab, and more, Dr. Lindsey believes in a balance between manual and exercise techniques that are best suited for the individual.
